I now realize I am unable to put together a WordPress site with photographs and documents which clearly portrays the subject I hoped to share. This WordPress agreement will expire August, 2025. I had considered publishing the obituaries that apply, the mini bio’s of the pioneers and settlers of our family, and the few photos and artist depictions of the homes our ancestors built. If any interest in such is shown I will share them on this platform, or by email transfer. ….. I only wish this could have been accomplished when Hobert’s generation was still around. After recovery, Hobert shared with his *cousins (*as I recall), living in Mississippi, that the memorials had been recovered, but a permanent place had not yet been found for their abode. (I failed to attain the Mississippi families names and addresses, a fact which adds to the relevance of this effort). A time will come when our children will wish they had access to this information. ….. It is a great feeling to mark this job off my bucket list and to know my children will not have the burden of moving them again, or protecting them, thanks be to God!

Location of family burial sites @ Oakwood Cemetery, Greenfield IL.

The following sites can be located in relationship to GPS co-ordinates. If need be, the given positions herein can be converted to “Degrees, Minutes, and Seconds” by using a converter. Simply search for “dms converter”. These “positions” were captured with an add-on GPS unit, while sitting on the roadway nearby each site. Example (Site A)
